Fifth Gait Technologies was formed on the basis of the realization that highly experienced and qualified personnel, in particular when it comes to unique areas of specialization, require special working and contracting conditions. To accomplish this goal our personnel and associates form a highly competent team of scientists and engineers.

The principal associates for the company are:

• Aeroflex/RAD, located in Colorado Springs, CO, a leading radiation test facility founded by current RAD and Fifth Gait Technologies employees under Mission Research Corporation's umbrella, and later sold to RAD. Its current focus is electronics and sensor testing and development of technologies for hardening. Aeroflex, the parent company, is the leading US provider of hardened electronics.
  
  
  
  
• Gray Research, located in Huntsville, AL, includes experts in survivability, in particular in missile defense. The personnel there have a long history of working in advisory roles to the government and aerospace primes.
  
  
  
  
• In addition the company enlists various consultants as needed. The company also provides sensor support to an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) startup company, Attopilot International.
